We are so very excited that you chose Ann's Swimming School for your child's swim lessons.

Class size/ratio 

Our class size/ratio is 9 swimmers with 4/5 instructors. Grouping varies depending on swimming level.

Dropping off/getting your kids into their class:

 We will pick up and drop off swimmers under Tiki Hut. Please leave shoes with parents.

Lessons are 40 minutes.



Viewing of your child's lesson

 Parents will be waiting under Tiki Hut or in their cars during class. Both Fridays parents are invited in to watch the last 20 minutes of the class. Parents out of sight is what helps keep the swimmers attention and focus on their swimming.

Bathroom:

If your child needs help in our outdoor bathroom or needs a diaper change, we will come out to you to get you.

Non potty trained kids or recently potty trained

If your child isn't potty trained, they must be wearing a swim diaper that snuggly fits around their waist and legs. Not too loose, so nothing gets out. It must be worn underneath a bathing suit for additional protection!

Payment for the classes: 

Payment is due in full on the 1st day of class. Please don't forget to bring either a check or cash. We do not accept credit cards!

  

 Weather and Illness:

As far as the weather is concerned we have to make the determination at class time if it's safe to swim or not. We do  swim in rain, but not in threatening weather. In order to receive a make up you must be present at your scheduled time unless you have already heard from us.

If your child is sick you have to call the swimming school at: #305 661 3820  and leave a message a minimum of 3 hours before class time to let us know your child is not coming to class, to be eligible for a make up class. Make up classes are only for illness or if we cancel due to bad weather. 

 

What to expect: 

Your child will most likely cry the first few days. This is completely normal. The entire experience is new to them and so are we. Please try to stay positive during this time. They will soon realize our love of teaching them how to swim, how to be safe, and enjoy swimming in general. We pride ourselves in teaching under a safe and nurturing environment.
